Description: There are more than 90 code sections, not in Chapter 11, which contain accessibility requirements. Many of the sections have changed from the 2006 edition of the code. The designer professional, the plan reviewer, and the inspector need to know these accessibility provisions.

Objectives: Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be better able to:
- Identify the most significant requirements for accessibility throughout the Building Code.
- Understand the differences between mainstreamed and specific accessibility requirements.
- Identify changes in the Code provisions between the 2006 and the 2009 Codes.
- Identify the applicability of design, plan review and inspection.
Benefit: Be better able to find applicable code sections and thereby comply with the UCC and the application of the 2009 I-Codes.
